Värinmuutosta

Does somebody still remember the hair dye that introduced a few weeks (or something like that) ago? I dyed my hair with it yesterday!! Just the roots though, because if i dyed the other parts, they'd turn black.. In the picture above, my hair looks quite normal, but actually there are 3 different colors in it!! The roots are red, the mid-length part is almost black and the tips are brown. So it's obvious that I can't call this a success :( Well, maybe I'll succeed next time...

We'll drive to Keuruu in central Finland today, how nice is that?? I love sitting in the car and listening to music :)

Media check--- What caught my attention this week

No photos today- I didn't feel like taking photos today. Wondering why? Because I've had a terrible headache for a few days... I decided to skip school and try to get rid of the headache, and it's not as bad as before :) Hopefully it'll be gone by tomorrow, since I'll go to the cinema with some classmates - We'll watch The Hunger Games. I'm not that keen on seeing that movie, but everybody else seems to like it so why not, maybe it's a good one!

Apart from sleeping, actually a lot of sleeping, I've been reading all kinds of stuff from the internet today. There were some cool things, and I decided to share them with you guys. + I added some new Finnish music so that this won't be a post full of text.

Maybe some people remember the Google logo I wrote about a while ago- the one with marimekko pattern. This time their logo was about Elias Lönnrot! You can see the logo here.

That beach seems AWESOME!!!! I'd love to go there... But the ticket prices are ridiculous- about 1600€ :O

If you like motor sport, check these pics of Kimi Räikkonen at an airport in China! He seems pretty serious- no wonder why he's called Iceman by some fans. He has his humorous side as well, just google "Kimi Räikkönen quotes" :p

As many of you know, circle lenses have became popular also outside Asia in the past years. I have no problems with my eyes, so I have never been very interested in those things. Today, however, something caught my attention- the side effects of wearing those lenses. There should be no problem with brand lens sold in Asia, like GEO. But I have heard of those companies whose lens are really bad, or fake versions of real brand lens... Check this and this to see what I'm talking about.

This one is for Finns only: EstonianAir is having big sales, all flights ONLY 99€!!!!! Get your tickets 9.4-15.4.2012 to enjoy the low prices :) There are lots of European destinations available- like Amsterdam, Brussels, St. Petersburg, London and Oslo.

Usually, I don't like Finnish female singers very much, but Emma Salokoski's voice is just beautiful! Don't you agree?

And some BBC stuff:

Have a nice day everybody!:)

Leffailua ja musiikkeilua

I've visited the cinema twice this week. At first I went to see New Year's Eve with my classmates. I don't remember the movie at all though, since I just slept there :D Sorry....
Then the second one, Happy Feet 2! It wasn't as good as I had supposed it to be, but at least I didn't sleep there.

Finally I managed to get Spotify! Listening to music 25/7 nowadays ;)

Indonesialaisia suolalamppuja

I got the certificate from taking piano lessons for 9 years... Which I found incorrect because I think I've been taking lessons for 10 years. Well, 9 is almost 10 so it's fine enough. It feels so strange not to play the piano because I have been playing for so long time!

My dad bought this one ~a week ago, guess what it is? A salt lamp... I had heard it has positive effects on health, but I was more interested in if it tasted like salt, so of course I had to lick it. Yes, it tasted quite salty.

This one is also a recent buy, I really needed a new calculator, so I got this one. I can't use it too well though, but there's a lamp in it, how cool is that???
This song is just too touching! The name is ''An unknown patient'', and it speaks out for the veterans of the war in Finland. The name is actually a pun, because ''Tuntematon sotilas'', The Unknown Solider, is one of the most famous novels & movies that has ever made in Finland. ''Tuntematon potilas'' has changed the meaning a whole lot, even if the name sounds almost the same. Of course it's not touching for those who can't understand Finnish but I bet every Finnish person finds it sad and moving !

The last days of summer

No math homework = boredom? Nah, just more wasted free time ;) Normally it takes so long for me to edit pics but these ones were taken last weekend!!
''Restless legs''! I loooove this song from the 1980s! I even made a brief translation of the song :

Take a spurt, take a spurt, a final sprint
Harakiri, a spurt, a spurt, a spurt, a spurt
As my swollen legs scream
Waded in asphalt
Who takes it all, who takes it all and what do I get?

Refrain:
I have restless legs, restless legs, restless legs...

Test, good, test, bad, acid test
Feel the fire in your heart
Hit your head to the wall again and again
I do that every day, keeping to the rhythm
Who takes it all, who takes it all and what do I get?

Refrain

Peace doesn't live inside me, and I won't drink water
that belongs to under the boat
I'm in a hurry of finding a new place
And eternity lies is every moment
Who takes it all, who takes it all and what do I get?

Refrain

Peace, peace, peace, peace
A beach of peace
That is what my head shouts, frantic
But my feet keep going
Who takes it all, who takes it all and what do I get?

Refrain

Music post number.... 4?

Haha, British pop! Why why why? My English relative gave me their CD alongside with Lady GaGas and Andrew Lloyd Webber's! So this music post is about my favorites from those CDs ;)

Oh, I really don't know and I really don't care

Thinking about the title? It's from The Smiths - Hand in glove! The Smiths is one of those bands I can listen to over and over again, I even have their CD. I don't buy CDs very often because I get tired of bands very easily...

An outfit from those lovely +30C days!
Today will be my 7th work day (evening shift, 15-21....), so I have only 3 work days left♥ Yesterday was a super busy day, I was almost late from work in the morning, the whole day was really busy so I didn't even have a change to have a 10min break! And straight after work I went for a meet-up in Tivoli, but I had to leave early because of tennis! When I came back home I felt myself so dead and slept even more than normally! Luckily the work starts so late today, otherwise I would have overslept ;)

I tried not to use mascara at all, but it looked so strange I had to apply some later! I also have false lashes but I can't use them at work because strong make-up/lots of accessory isn't allowed there. That's the reason why I haven't taken a lot of outfit pics lately- I have to wear simple clothes, a white tee & black pants there so I don't even bother to take a pic of them.

Borrowed some random CDs from the library but for some reason they didn't work on my laptop...

Civics exam today! I shouldn't worry because I got good grades from 3 earlier civics exams but of course I worry, it's a common habit already ;)

I quit taking piano lessons last week. It was really hard because I've been playing the piano for 10 years!! When I was younger I hated it and never practiced, and when I learnt to love it, I didn't have time to practice enough because of school and hobbies... Such a sad thing! I gave those chocolates to my piano teacher, hopefully she liked them :)

And nooooow, I'm off to eat some porridge and run to school... Have a nice day everybody♥

Galna dagarrr

I hate the discount days of the local mall, I always buy something stupid... Well, this year, I bought a book about marathons! And cheap jeggings that cost only 10€, I couldn't resist them even if they don't look good on me :(

I also got a discount ticket to Qstock 2011, too bad I'm not interested in going there because of the lack of good bands... And I hear the music every year even if I live 7km away from the place the gigs are held :p

Aaaand I borrowed some books from the library! Okay, the second one is the marathon book I bought actually. The other books are about vegetarian foods and cooking ('m not a vegetarian but I got interested in making vegetarian foods for some reason :) but the last one is a ski book, surprise surprise...

Music post 3#

My homework from piano lessons.. It's surprisingly good :)
Johnny Cash is awesome!!! I looooove his voice :D
And a Finnish one! It has been staying in my head for a while now, even if Haloo Helsinki is far from my favorite bands..
A photo from Thursday, before I went to gym! I don't wear pink clothes so often so it felt a bit strange to wear those...
Anyway, today was the first day of my ''healthy life''! I went to the downtown with my friends and they wanted to buy candy and go to McDonalds but I stayed strong and said I'll go buy some clothes instead ^^' And so did I, and found a pair of shoes which I'll introduce later :)

Music post 2#

They're awesome! I wish I could dance as well as they do...

One of my favorite songs at the moment.. I don't like Jippu's or Samuli's songs but when they sing together the songs are always so awesome!!!
A new one....
And an old one! I prefer this, how about you? ;)

Music post #1

So  here are the songs that I have been listening to this week... What do you think, would it be a good idea to make that kind of posts more often?

Danny♥♥

I don't like many Finnish singers but I have liked him since I was like 5 years old..... I prefer his older songs from the 1960s, they're so awesome ;)

W&B

More studying, human biology this time! It's so boring :s
Here's an awesome video from a Japanese band called レミオロメン, my friend sent their CD to me lately(it was in that huge packet!) and I think it's actually very good.

TACK♥

                                                                 200 vierailijaa!
Tuohan ei edelleenkään ole paljon mutta kiitoksia kaikille jotka on vaivautuneet käymään tai jopa lukemaan blogia ;)
Muuten, eikö olekin söpöä paperia? Tilasin tuota ajat sitten täältä, noin 5€ sai oikein kunnon kasan japanilaista paperia. Suosittelen!

Tähän loppuun vielä yks video ettei tästä tulis kuitenkaan ihan tarpeeton postaus... Yks mun lempilauluista ja -bändeistä, levykin tuli ostettua aika vasta ♪~(^ε^)

English:
200 pageviews, thank you soooo much!
Isn't that paper cute?? I ordered it from here some time ago. It cost about 5€ and I got a huuuuuuuuge amount of different kinds of Japanese papers!

That's one of my favorite bands and one of my favorite songs too! I recently bought their CD which is soooo great ;)
