Mökin pihalta
Anything can happen when you sit outside 30km away from any village... This time I didn't see any reindeer though, only this one! Well, just a couple of weeks ago I saw two reindeer here so it's totally fine :p
24:00 in Nallikari beach!
I'm still staying in our summerhouse, I'll probably visit Oulu from Tuesday to Wednesday and then go back to Puolanka ;)

My summer♥
A short (or a bit longer) pause awaits again! Here's my plan:
- Tomorrow I'll stay the night in a spa hotel with my best friend, we'll also go to the cinema to see a movie called Hanna.
- On Tuesday we go back to our summerhouse and stay there for... a week? A month?
So, take care everybody ;)

Some pics taken in June
Finland-shaped gingerbread mold! One of the very few things I bought in Tuuri villageshop!
One of my favorite pics this summer! What a typical Finnish landscape ;)

A library backwoods
After visiting the villageshop of Tuuri, we decided to drive back to our summerhouse in Keuruu. But on our way we saw something interesting: a library far away from any city centre. The library was actually ~10km away from the main road, that's probably the reason why it sounded interesting.
To guide the way, they had used birdhouses with famous Finnish authors and their books. I chose to take a photo of this one because Mika Waltari's The Egyptian is one of my favorite books ever!
The library's café was quite big, and almost all the materials used were second-hand.
They even got a donation of stuffed animals from a school.
Books and dogs. The atmosphere of the place was very homey!

Music post number.... 4?
Haha, British pop! Why why why? My English relative gave me their CD alongside with Lady GaGas and Andrew Lloyd Webber's! So this music post is about my favorites from those CDs ;)
2nd road trip, Keuruu-Ähtäri-Töysä
We decided to go to Töysä to see Tuurin Kyläkauppa. The name in English would be Tuuri Villageshop, but it could also be translated as ''A villageshop of good luck'', because tuuri means good luck in Finnish. And as you can see below, good luck is absolutely the theme of the whole shopping centre!
Basically, the shop has two departments: food and other things. Of course there are also some smaller shops, but those two are the most important ones. At first we visited the department of other things, such as clothes, CDs, hobby equipment and so on. The shop was really big but I bought just a few things (and no clothes at all! What's wrong with me?).
The only pic I took about the other things department...
And this is the food department from the outside. Slightly more sophisticated than the other department, which looked like a cottage in my opinion. A huge cottage.
And this is how the food department looked from the inside. Kinda nice, but I have to complain a bit. I was disappointed because even if the shop looked very nice, it had nothing special to offfer. No exotic things or anything like that. I wanted to buy a (history)magazine to read while sitting in the car, but they didn't even have it!! Only crossword and sudoku magazines and a very small amount of other magazines. And I felt the same with the whole shop: nothing special to sell, the greatness of the shop(and maybe low prices as well) seem to be the only reason why people visit that shop... But I don't regret visiting that place, the whole thing was actually kinda nice.

Thank youuu♥
2 new followers and 8000 pageviews! I'm so glad about that, especially because I know I haven't been blogging so much in the summer... Well, thank you again ;)
Boring photos vol. 123
A few posts ago I introduced the old church of Keuruu... This is the new one. From 1892.
A pointless pic? No! This one tells that... I miss skiing.
My neighbour? Kinda.

Mökkeilyä
(The pic is not from Puolanka where our real summerhouse is, it's from Keuruu where we rent a summerhouse for a week every year)
I managed to post one pic but it took soooo long to upload it! So I may post entries with one pic while staying in the summerhouse ;)
We'll probably stay here in Puolanka till Thursday and then we go back to Oulu for a couple of days... TO PICK STRAWBERRIES♥ And I'm planning to go to a spa hotel with my best friend who has free tickets to the hotel! And on Saturday we're planning to come back to Puolanka to see the world championships of swamp soccer!!

The old church of Keuruu
Most of my readers are probably not interested in history, but anyway... The church was built in 18th century, so it's kinda old for a Finnish church.
That place was soooo beautiful! I also visited the new church of Keuruu at the same time, but imo this one was better ;)
And sorry, my blog will probably be silent for a while again because we go back to our summerhouse! Cable wakeboarding, here I comeeeeee!!!!
