New school

I got accepted into the school I applied for... And immediately sent an application for an apartment as well! So now it's 99,9% sure that I'll move to Helsinki in August♥

My granny visited us today, and she was holding that small paper bag in which I gave her a birthday present.
"The scarf didn't really suit me, so I'll give it back."

"You didn't like it??"

"SURPRISE!!!!!!"

The bag was full of homemade bread!!! 

Apart from watching football, I've been jumping on our trampoline lately.. And sleeping. And reading.. This is what real holidays consists of: no stress, just all the nice things! I'm getting a bit bored though, even if on  most days I've had something "important" to do as well, like sorting out some school stuff etc. Too bad the weather hasn't been good at weekends, so we haven't had a chance to visit our summerhouse yet :s But next weekend we might visit a zoo though, because there's a polar bear cub and I want to see it...

This zoo was a bit different to a zoo in Finland. No polar bears, no snow... 

Recently

(photo NOT related;) It was taken in Spain on 2010... I really want to go to beach now!)

The weekend: Hanging out with friends, watching movies, hanging out with friends, watching movies... It was nice to see some junior high school classmates again:)

Monday: Sunbathing! My Great Tanning Plan doesn't seem to work though, because my skin has just burned so far... I also arranged some stuff about that summer high school thingy, and in the evening I went to the city centre with my friend. And watched football! FRA-ENG and UKR-SWE...
Today: Shopping, I really need to buy some stuff before my trip!

So, after a week or so, I'll go to Keuruu in central Finland to celebrate midsummer. We hire a small cottage there, and I'll volunteer at a midsummer event held just a few kms away from there. I guess I'll get to work at a cafe or something :) Below you can see a picture which I took in 2009 in Keuruu.

After staying a few days in Keuruu, I'll go to Helsinki, stay one night there and continue my way to the summer high school which is quite close to Helsinki... In Espoo I think. And I'll stay there for a month, except one weekend that I'll get free... So I'm planning to have another shopping trip in Helsinki ;)

I'm disappointed

Normally I'm satisfied with cosmetics, but I had to throw this one away... At first it seemed really nice, especially because of the "magic bubble effect". But after a few months, it started to smell really terrible!! Maybe it got old already, because at first it seemed completely normal :s Too bad, since the bottle was still almost full, and I don't like throwing stuff away...

-50%, who could resist?

Seems that my hair won't get lighter soon, because this hairdye was -50%... Who wants to pay more than 10€ to get a hairdye, when you can pay about 5€! What a nice deal!!

PS. This is a scheduled post because I have so much to do today! The most important thing for today might be to tidy my room because my friend who lives in Helsinki now will stay the weekend here- she used to be in the same school with me, so we'll have some kind of party with junior high school classmates:)!

Starbucks has arrived in Finland!!

Just a few months ago I heard that the first Starbucks in Finland will be built at the Helsinki-Vantaa airport. And now it's opened, as I read from Pikkumansikka's blog! I'm waiting forward to visit it sooner or later, but while waiting for that, I can buy Starbucks products from the supermarket...

PS. I'm thinking of writing some posts beforehand so that there will be posts even when I'm away and can't use the computer:)
