What a weird day...

One of the things I got this weekend... I got some other stuff too, but the photos turned out too bad to show here!! Waaay too bad.

Anyway, talking about my purchases isn't the point of today's post! I just want to share my strange day with you guys and girls... Here it comes:

8.00 The doorbell rings, but I'm sleeping so I don't open the door

---> Later on I find a strange paper on my floor! The only thing that's written there is "You've got mail, pick it up from the post office" and some numbers!! The problem is that there's no name on the paper, and I have two housemates... And they didn't even write which post office we should get the packet from :s

10.00 I find out that my history book has disappeared... I probably sold it with some other books, and didn't notice that I need it! I need to buy a new one, what a shame :s

11.20 I'm going to school, a bit too late... School starts at 11.30 and I'm still at the train station (I have to take 2 trains to go to school). Then a stranger starts to talk to me!!!! That's something that doesn't happen too often here in Finland.. Because most Finns are really shy! Anyway, we talk for a while and change Facebooks, and I run to school (we had our class photos at 11.45 so I wasn't late after all:)

12.40 Lunch!! Suddenly my English teacher walks to my table and asks me if I want to give a speech about Sami mythology at a culture center (I made a presentation about it last week, started writing it at 3 in the morning before the presentation and I think it wasn't very good)... That was so surprising!!

15.00 Looking for a new history book at a store. After finding the book, I see they have lots of language books as well, and decide to have a look... End up buying a dictionary, an answer books and a grammar book. And that history book of course. When I'm about to go and pay for the books, another stranger stops me, looking at my Portuguese books: "Do you study Portuguese??"

M: "Yup!"

S: "At a university??"

M: "No, at an adult high school."

S: "Okay, I was just curious because I was in Brazil last year!"

M: "Woooow, which cities did you visit?"

Then it was my turn to pay... Too bad I couldn't talk more with her!! I hope I'll see her somewhere later :p

Now, after all that, I'm just super tired... But I still have homework to do! Hopefully there will be no more strange stuff for this evening ;)

Something new

"I'm just gonna relax today!!" Just after thinking that I noticed I've plenty of stuff to do :s

1. I should send some mail to my new school because I'd like to make some course choices... Normally, the school decides the courses for 1st year students, but I'm a 2nd year student (even if officially a 1st year student) and I don't want to repeat some courses. I also got the acception letter from the school yesterday, with the score of the entrance exam! I thought I didn't do that well in the exam, because I didn't have time to prepare for it (okay, I glanced through a grammar book while on airplane to Helsinki), but my score was 9,8/10! I literally danced around the house after that :D

2. I need to send 234645247345345 letters... I didn't have time to reply my friends while at school, so for the past few weeks, I've been writing and writing.

3. I need to pack my stuff for the trip! School books (pictured above), clothes, camera etc... Would be terrible if I forgot something! I also visit Helsinki on my trip, because I must give the final report of my junior high school to my new school. The final report should not be folded or wrinkled, so I must be careful :s

4. I should see my friends. Should is a bit bad word for this situation though.. "I want to see my friends" would be better! I won't see them for over a month, and one of my friends will study abroad in the USA this year so I want to see her before she leaves!!

5. I should return my books to the library and some other little stuff.

6. I should go shopping!! I need to buy some stuff before I leave... Such as summer clothes!

Oh... I guess this won't be a lazy Saturday after all :(

This is what I found during a shopping trip about a week ago. Nothing much... I wanted to find some nice and summery stuff, but nooooo :( The jeans are high-waisted ones from Cubus, 39,90€, and the loose shirt is from Lindex, 19,90€.

Tiistailua

The weather has been so sunny lately that I wanted to show this shirt here... It has been waiting for the summer in my closet for a while already. I bought it at Narita Airport, and the brand is Rodeo Crowns. Sadly I can't remember the price :(

My granny painted this one! The pattern is quite similar to Aurora Borealis, isn't it? I wonder if she got the inspiration from auroras!

Physics test tomorrow... Wish me luck!;)

Where's my motivation??

I'm supposed to be doing my homework now, but I just can't concentrate! There's some chemistry stuff to write (more than 10 pages :d) and I've been doing it since 10 in the morning... And now it's 6:30 in the evening!!! Okay, I spent most of the time on the internet, but that's still quite a lot isn't it? There was one really difficult exercise to do, but luckily I managed to do it.

Anyway, here's the shopping post that I promised to make! These things were bought this week. I know, I was supposed not to buy anything before the summer but I really needed some of them. That bag was probably the best purchase, because I really needed a bag that could carry all the schoolbooks. From H&M, only 15,90€ :)

This is from H&M as well. It was a bit expensive, almost 40€, but I really needed a new bathrobe and this was the only one that was cute and warm!

Oh I forgot to tell about my terrible Saturday. The morning was just normal- I woke up around 7 in the morning and did some homework. My plan was like this:

10am Going to the flea market

2pm My aunt's husband's birtday party

4pm My friend's birthday party

.... But it didn't turn out like that at all!!! Here's how the day looked like:

9am Noticing that my wallet is gone, looking for it

9:30am Panic! Where's my wallet???

9:45am Super hyper mega panic... Luckily I found my buscard from the pocket of my coat.

10am Running to the bus stop, went to Tuira to look for my wallet because I had been there a few days ago and that's where I used my wallet before it got lost

11am Found my wallet♥ Thanks to the Lidl salesperson!! From now on, I'll start to buy food from Lidl more often :D

12.30 Went to the flea market, realized that I wouldn't make it in time to the parties so I decided to go shopping instead

5pm Came back home... Exhausted :(

No wonder why I slept so much last night!

H&M, 19,90€. They had only big sizes left, but it doesn't really matter because of the material of the shirt. I really liked how it looked like at the shop, hopefully it'll look the same when I wear it :D

A basic shirt from H&M. It was less than 10€ and I don't have many basic clothes at the moment because I sold them at the flea market so I think this came in need :)

Back detail of the shirt. So it's not 100% basic! Maybe I'll use it with shorts in the summer because now it might be a bit too cold for that type of clothing.

Shirt from Cubus. About 30€. The only size they had was XL, but I had to buy it because the I love the colors! They had other colors with sizes XS, S and M but I didn't like those colors... This is better even if it's too big :)

And jeans, from Cubus as well. They sell jeans for 20€ only, so I had to buy ones. I was considering whether to buy high- or low-waisted jeans, but I ended up buying the ones with low waist. Why? I don't know, high-waisted ones would have been better... Well, maybe next time I'll buy those high-waisted ones then.

I bought it in Harajuku!! I think it's super cute, but a little too cold to wear in the winter :/

Busy days continue... The first exam will be on tomorrow!!!!

Haven't posted any outfit pictures for a while, so here's one! The fatty jacket is new, bought in Tokyo. It cost around 70€, and the brand is GAP. It's super warm, but not so pretty...

I suppose I've introduced the other clothes here already: the woolly hat is from H&M as well and the hoodie. I've no idea of the brand or price of the pants, because I bought them such a long time ago. Socks are made by my grandma and the shoes are from Seppälä. A simple outfit as usual... I just went to the library to study today.

Lesson 1: Don't chew gum while taking pictures. Otherwise your face will look odd.

Today's dinner: sautéed reindeer, mashed potatoes, some raejuusto (it's similar to cottage cheese) and a strawberry-banana smoothie. Healthy but delicious! I didn't make the reindeer dish myself because I was too lazy to, just bought a snap... I should start cooking at home more often!!!!

HEYHEYY! How have you been?

I've been busy as always, but now I have some free time since I had a math test today. I know it sounds a biiiiiiit strange but I have a reason for that! A normal math lesson = a lot of homework, but a math test = no homework at all♥♥♥ GREAT!! I know the pics are really boring, but school fills my life nowadays so I have nothing else to write about... In the first pic you can see my books for the next 2 months, and after that I need to buy new ones! How crazy is that? But I've noticed that brand new books keep my studying motivation higher than those really old ones we had to use in junior high :)

Please don't mind my terrible handwriting in the 2nd pic!!!! Seriously, I can't even read my own handwriting, so all the notes I write are useless.....

And finally something less boring. At least I hope so! It's the outfit that I had when our class photo was taken :)

A biiiig thank you to my English relative!

And recent gets! FOCUS magazine because I was really bored and needed something to read. Maybe you can't see it, but there's also Lumene eyebrow control brush, which was a good purchase indeed! And a basic hoodie + cardigan from H&M. Maybe you've noticed that I don't write about clothes & shopping as much as I used to. The reason is that I'm saving money for *TOP SECRET*. Maybe I'll tell it in... 3 years or so. And, in addition to that, I'm not as materialistic as before (or at least I hope so!). I've sold a lot stuff in the local flea market, even some things I actually like but don't need anymore. So, the subject of my blog has changed and will change a lot ;)

SPRINGGGGG♥♥

I feel like a superhero right now, did so much sport yesterday (3 hours, that's a lot to me!) and my muscles are not even hurting! Tervahiihto, here I come!!!

A school outfit, bit too boring but I blame my room for that, it's still a mess so I can't find more clothes... Oh well, I have almost emptied it already! Even gave some books away! And planning to sell some clothes that I bought in Japan, especially one skirt that cost 90€ and I have NEVER worn it...

Ha, playing with PhotoScape... I'd really need Photoshop (we have the 232463634634636345 years old version and I can't use it), but it's so expensive that I prefer using free software ;)

New shoes....again? I had to buy them, seriously! Remember the grey ones I bought for Berlin? They're almost broken already... No wonder why they cost only 10€♥ But at least I learnt something from that, so these shoes are a bit more expensive, 25€ ;D

I wasn't supposed to buy anything before we go to Berlin but I just HAD TO buy a white shirt for the 9th graders party which will be held tomorrow! And besides that, I also need a white shirt for my summer job so... And it cost only 7€!

Studying and studying and studying... NO MORE STUDYING! I finished the last exam of the 9th grade today!!!! 6 days to Berlin and a couple of weeks to summer vacation♥♥♥

A shirt I found at the same time as I found the LIZ LISA shirt... Why do I have so many forgotten clothes in my closet? :D

Changed my winter scarf (that black one) into a spring one! I've had that one since 7th grade but I still like it ;)

It doesn't actually have one! But don't worry, there are more posts about clothes coming later :) See those shirts in the 1st picture at right? I bought them because they were so cheap, like less than 10€!!

New wallet from Friis&Co

I really needed a new wallet because I have only one wallet which cost like 3€ in Spain... I wanted something basic, and Friis&Co was having -40% offers so I decided to buy this one! It cost about 10€ and I'm really pleased with it!

Oh, sorry about that my postcard of the week- post is late!! My scanner doesn't want to cooperate with me.... Well, I'll make a post about 2 postcards at the same time when my scanner starts to work or when I remember to take photos of the postcards ;)
