Kiirepäivä

Some vitamin D! I take it in the winter because the people who live in the dark north can't get enough from the sunlight. That's why I try to remember to take it... Good for bones!! In the summer it's not needed anyway, since the days are not so dark then.

Today:
School 8.15-15.45
Flea market 16.20
Gym 16.50-17.50
Shopping for food ---> Cooking!

And here's the result!! :)

Healthier

It's spring and I'm not busy, so I started to change my habits to the healthier way. I still have time to get into some sort of bikini shape before the summer holidays... But I need some hard work (an less treats:)!! I'm not very keen on losing weight, but getting my muscles back... They have vanished :(
So, what's the easiest way to get some muscle? Going to the gym of course!! So I bought a gym card of two months. Normally the gym card costs 95€/month, but I got it for 88€/2 months. Great deal isn't it? They also told me that if I want to continue my membership there after that two months, I'll get the summer months for free!

I bet the smart ones noticed already- my "new" lifestyle means that I'll make more posts considering health from now on, I hope everybody's fine with that :) I won't forget the other posts either, so just skip the boring parts! Stay tuned ;)

Strawberries and a donut-like thing (munkki in Finnish, if anybody knows the correct name in English, please inform me, this uncertainty is terrible;)
Well anyway, I'm not going to talk about food or anything like that! Okay okay just a few words about health&food today, everybody check this! Best Before Paranoia, sounds kinda familiar...

But seriously, that wasn't the point of the post, I have something serious to talk about ;) If you're not interested in politics, just skip thiiiiiiis!
So, if you've watched the news lately, you probably know about Portugal's money problems. Well if you don't, then search the information from the net, I'm just too lazy to explain the whole thing :D
I used to think that we really should help Portugal, as it's a part of the EU and also because of that we should try to help the people in need. But the following things changed my mind a bit:
1. They have gold worth of $17.6bn. Shouldn't they sell their own gold before getting money from other countries who have problems as well?
2. If we want to loan money to Portugal, we should take more loan too. And guess what happens then? A rat race! We take loan from others who have taken loan from somebody else etc etc etc.
3. They actually made a video to show what we should know about them. Telling things like
''Portugal used the Finnish flag 800 years before Finland''
''James Bond was invented in Portugal''
''Our Ronaldo is better than the Brazilian Ronaldo''
And at last but not least:
''One of the largest volunteer campaigns ever in Portugal was in 1940. We collected tons of clothes and cereals to support another peripheral, poor and starving country. This country was Finland.''
I checked the information from the net, and according to this site they gave us 19902 boxes of sardines, 956 boxes of onions, 157 boxes of fish, 27 boxes of pineapple and skis, hot water pouches and pullovers. Thank you, Portugal (I don't want to sound sarcastic, just honestly want to thank them..). But another thing I discovered is that all that was worth of 200000€, and we should loan them 1.4billion euros, 1400000000€! Isn't that just a few euros more than their donation?

What do you think? Should we give the money to Portugal? In my opinion, they definitely haven't earned it, but we should be charitable. And discuss about the terms of the loan, we shouldn't give money without rules.

Herkkulakko!

No more sweets for me, please! I bought a huge box of candy (which was really delicious of course..) but started to feel so sick after eating that I decided to stop eating junk food until 25th of May (Guess why exactly 25th? I'll go to Berlin then!). In Finnish we use the word ''herkkulakko'', which means literally ''delicacy strike'' to describe that somebody doesn't eat unhealthy foods for certain time... And if somebody thinks I want to lose weight or something, it's not about that! I have just started to feel very sick after eating unhealthy food recently so maybe it's better to try something new and see if it works!
So, here are the prohibited foods:
- Candy
- Cookies
- Soft drinks
- Juices with added sugar
- Hot chocolate
- Ice cream
- Turkey fillet (I don't know why I feel so sick after eating them..)
- Pastry
-Cake
- Hamburger
- French fries
- Cereal (Not that I'd eat them anyway, we never buy cereal ^^')
- Pizza (Homemade pizza might be ok, let's see later if I have the patience to make pizza at home :)
I guess that was enough... So, let's move to the foods I try to eat more:
- Nuts, you know, good fats!
- Seeds
-  Yoghurts because they have good lactic acid bacteria
- Fish
- Milk
I also want to try some new foods that I have never tried before, so I'll keep you guys informed :)
