Saying bye to my room of 4 weeks

It was a bit strange to leave the summer school- I had been there for 4 weeks already! But those weeks passed so fast as it felt more like 2 weeks or something. I didn't have much free time there, but at least I had time to swim in a lake for the first time this year... The water was really cold, though :s

So, now I'm just waiting for the results! I already know that I got good grades from Swedish and Finnish courses, but I also studied history and social studies there...

Today's plan: meeting my classmates, going to our summerhouse :)

I began my studies at a summer high school yesterday... The lessons are 8.15-16.45 every day except the weekend of course. So I have to study a loooooot now :/ Luckily I'll get to see my friend during the weekend (which means I'll have a trip to Helsinki again:)

Yesterday I went to my new school to give them my final report from junior high and confirm that I'll study there from August. Now I just need to choose the courses I'll attend 2012-2013... It's difficult! Just look at that paper and you'll see what I mean!

I put some glitter nail polish for my nails! It was cute as long as it lasted... The nail of my right little finger got broken yesterday on my way to the summer high school place. I don't know what happened because it didn't hurt at all, but today I noticed that there was a deep cut in my nail :( Bye bye, "long" nails...

PSSST! I just noticed that I've 50 followers now!♥ I thought it would be like 46 or something... Where did all the new followers come from? Hmm... Anyway, my secret goal was to get 50 followers before Christmas.  What could be my next secret (not so secret anymore) goal?

The past few weeks

School stuff. I had to collect articles considering the situation of the European Union, and write my own opinions about it. Easy, but a lot of work...

A birthday present for my classmate- I think I told about the party earlier so I don't bother writing all the stuff again.

And some books I read lately. Paulo Coelho's writing style is very beautiful, and the book was very quick to read. The book about the Caribbean was filled with nice photos- I had to borrow it because the winter (which is supposed to be spring) made me miss the summer.

PS. Sorry for writing 99,9% nonsense! I made this post because I want to try the "schedule the post" -option.. Let's see if it works :)

Here it is, the new hair color... TOO REDDISH! Well, even professional hairdressers say that it's extremely hard to change my hair to non-reddish(?), so maybe this color is just fine :)

Yesterday was a busy day, because I needed to buy some high school books. They cost 140€ because I found only one used book (it was 10€, how cheap♥). The other books were ~20€ each... I also needed to cover them with plastic, because I plan to sell the books when I don't need them anymore (€€€€!!!). The only problem is that some of the books might be too old for sale when I graduate :(

In the evening I went to gym and exercised for 2 hours as always. I've improved so much, because just a few weeks ago I was able to manage 30kg on adductor muscle thing(?) Anyway, now I can do 50kg, and the max is 60! So only 10kg left :D

What was I looking at? I seem so focused haha :D

Today was the first school day and of course I don't have pics about it (except the pics about my outfit, I'll post them later) so I decided just to post some photos that were taken in the summer so that you can watch at least some kind of photos as well.

Well, today was a surprisingly long day, I had to stay at school till 3-4pm!!! Normally the first days are very short, like last year, when we had only 10 minutes of school... Well, that's probably how upper secondary school is! :< We got so much paper, like timetables and study guides etc. Luckily that part didn't last too long (9.30-11.30am), and then the funny part started! We were divided in groups of 9 people and we had to walk around the school & university area, which is next to our school as well and play little games, such as quizzes. Each class had 3 teams (mine was team number 2) and the best class got prizes! And guess which class won??? MY CLASS♥ We got small bars of chocolate as a reward ;)

I ♥ those IKEA lamps!!!! Too bad it'd look terrible in my room :(

Tomorrow I must go to school at 8.15 in the morning, and the whole day will we filled with information about studying in upper sec. school (it means basically the same as high school, but somebody has decided to call it upper secondary school here). The ''real'' lessons start on Monday, and the first lesson is maths of course!!!! I always seem to have math on the first lesson on Mondays...

I graduated from junior high school yesterday (and my summer holidays began♥)! The closing ceremony was quite short, maybe 1 hour. We went to school 8:45am and the ceremony started around 9 o'clock. At first the principal gave us an usual speech (congratulations, future plans and so on...) and then we were given cake, coffee and tea. After that we got the grants/scholarships or whatever they're called. In Finland the schools give little money/book/item prizes for the students who have worked hard in certain subjects or situations. After that we went to our homeroom classes and got the diplomas... Then I went to the beach and downtown with friends to celebrate the beginning of the summer holidays!

I got 4 grants which was really surprising! Well, another student got 4 grants as well but I never thought I'd get so many of them!! This one was a grant from doing well in English lessons... Totally loving that book :D

20€ for having the highest average of the whole class and a memory stick for being the 2nd best of the whole school in the nationwide economics exam.

Diploma for being the 2nd best of the school in the nationwide economics exam... Speaking of which, I heard I got the best grades of the whole school (9th graders) in the nationwide English exam and my best friend was the 2nd best! I'm really happy about that because English is absolutely one of my favorite subjects :D

''Congratulations for doing well in mathematical subjects!''. It was worth 50€! The blue paper was with the grant, it was some kind of advertisement of The University of Oulu, noticing me that the university has programmes for becoming a master of science in engineering, structure area. Well, I'm not sure about my future yet so I didn't throw the paper away ;D

I laughed so hard when I saw this... It's a certificate for participating in the student association activity as a reserve member! I also got a pouch of candies from them. The funny thing is that I went to their meeting only once because I was selected to become a member even if I didn't even want to be one!

My junior high diploma! The average of the theoretical subjects was 10, and I was so happy because I worked REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY hard to get that! During this spring I raised my Finnish and geography grades and I at the moment I don't regret it at all♥

Well, the other subjects, such as textile work and sports, are another subject to talk about... They didn't go as well, the only 10 I got was from optional sports. I got a 8 from compulsory sports, so I'm wondering why the teacher gave me a 10 from optional sports then...? Well, I was really pleased with my textile work results as well, a 8 from textile work is really good to me because I'm so bad at making things with my hands :p From arts, music and cooking I got 9s, so I'm quite pleased with them as well.

And this is how I spent the first day of the summer holidays: sunbathing with my cool España cap (see my nose and neck, the sun was a bit too strong to me)... I know, it looks really stupid but I just love that cap! Guess why I wore it today? Because Rafael Nadal will play against Roger Federer, and it's not a big surprise which one I'm supporting ;)

I wasn't supposed to buy anything before we go to Berlin but I just HAD TO buy a white shirt for the 9th graders party which will be held tomorrow! And besides that, I also need a white shirt for my summer job so... And it cost only 7€!

Studying and studying and studying... NO MORE STUDYING! I finished the last exam of the 9th grade today!!!! 6 days to Berlin and a couple of weeks to summer vacation♥♥♥

A shirt I found at the same time as I found the LIZ LISA shirt... Why do I have so many forgotten clothes in my closet? :D

I must confess that one of these foods wasn't mine... 10 points and a parrot badge (Don't bother to think about that parrot badge thing, it's just a Finnish joke..) to the person who knows which I didn't eat ;) TIP: I talked about it on my ''delicacy strike'' post!

My latest favorite food... hard rye bread with margarine and a boiled egg (mun epätoivoinen versio munavoista...) :D

So, I could write something else too, because some people might get bored if the post is only about food ;)

It's FRIDAY♥ I have an easy school day today, from 10am to 1pm! After school I'll go to downtown to buy a spring jacket and comfortable shoes so that it'll be easier to walk in Berlin (ONLY 1 MONTH AND SOMETHING LEFT BEFORE BERLIN!). And after that I'll go buy some food with daddy and watch TV study.

I've been on my ''delicacy strike'' for a week now. I don't even miss candy or other delicacies... yet!

I should also plant my ryegrass today! It's a Finnish tradition to grow ryegrass at the Eastertime and I haven't done that for years but now I just want to plant it ;D

Sorry for posting ooooold photos, I don't have time to upload the new ones from my camera... This one was taken in March, we don't have so much snow anymore ;)

Anyway, I must write very quickly because I'm really busy at the moment! I have so many things to talk about but not enough time.

Well the first and maybe the most important thing is that I was the 2nd best of all the 9th grades of our school in the economics test!! I'm sooooo glad about it, but of course it felt a bit bad to be the 2nd because the difference to the first was only 2 points!!!! So I ran a bit faster than I normally do today... Okay okay, the reason why I ran faster was that it was raining outside, how annoying!

Hmmm what else... I learned to dance foxtrot today! It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be so I'm really glad :D

OH NOOOO I don't have time to write more or I'll be late from my piano lesson!!! By the way, I'm learning to play Old French Song by Tcaikovsky! It's such a beautiful song :)

My fever is gone now so I went back to school... To do a nationvide economics test! It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be so I'm very glad!

Tomorrow I'll go shopping a bit, I'm trying to find Skikes! I hope they're sold here, it would be annoying (and expensive) to order them! And I should save money for Berlin :(

About shopping, I must confess that...

... I bought a new bag again! I haven't made posts about the one(s) I bought before ^^'

Anyway, I had to buy a new school bag and that cost less than 50€! A perfect deal!

I have so many plans for the weekend! As I told before, I'll go shopping on Friday. On Saturday I go skiing if I don't feel sick anymore (Okay okay, feeling a bit sick doesn't matter, I want to go skiing NOWNOWNOWNOW!). And on Sunday I'll go to library to read some magazines... AND I should study for my English and maths exams. And tidy my room up! And send some letters and and and.... Okay I'll stop now :D

Earrings from my Brazilian friend! I haven't had a change to wear them before but a couple of days ago it was about 0C in the morning so i put them on... Which was a bad idea because when I arrived to school my ears were completely frozen :(

I got that paper a long time ago but I have some troubles with it! I must decide what subjects I'll study more in high school- so actually I must also decide which subjects I'll write in the matriculation exam... There are YEARS before that exam, how can I decide those things now?? Anyway, as I have had a dream of becoming a medical doctor for a long time, I decided to take many courses in long matematics, physics, chemistry and biology! And Finnish, English and Swedish of course! The minimum of courses is 75, but when I count the amount of my courses I got about 100.... So my high school will be very busy if I want to graduate in 3 years!

BTW, some people have probably noticed that I changed my blog's template AGAIN! There were some problems with comment system things, so hopefully they got fixed now :)
